Open Adobe Illustrator and type the word you want to style using the Type Tool (T).
Choose a bold, easy-to-read font for the best results.

Select your text, press Ctrl + C and then Ctrl + V to create a copy.
Make the second version slightly smaller — this will add depth to the blend effect later.

Drag the smaller text to the bottom of your artboard.
This will serve as the endpoint for your blend.

Give the smaller text the same color as your background.
This creates a subtle fade effect, making it look like the text disappears into the background.

Select the larger text and choose a vibrant color — for example, green, gold, or a bright gradient.
This will be the starting point of your blended text effect.

Select your large text and press Ctrl + C to copy it.
You’ll need this copy later to finish the design.

Hold Shift and click both the large and small text objects to select them together.

Go to Type → Create Outlines.
Your text is now converted into vector shapes, allowing you to apply the blend.

Go to Object → Blend → Blend Options.
Set Spacing to Specified Steps and choose around 2000 steps for a smooth gradient.
Click OK to confirm.
💡 The higher the number of steps, the smoother the transition will be.

Go to Object → Blend → Make.
Illustrator will now create a smooth transition between your large and small text — your base blended text effect is complete!

Press Ctrl + V to paste the text you copied earlier.
Change it to white and position it directly above your blend to make the effect stand out.
